Description

Muirheads Silver Seal 12 Year Old is an International Wine and Spirits Competition 'Gold Best In Class' winner hailing from Speyside, Scotland. The Muirheads history dates back to 1824 and culminates in the Silver Seal range of Muirheads Single Malts; a superbly packaged range of top quality single malt whisky, specially selected by the master distiller. Originally founded by Mr Charles Muirhead, creator of the Glenmorangie Company, the brand arrived on Australian shores in 2008 and there is already a burgeoning legion of Muirheads converts worldwide.

The 12YO has received a great rap in the esteemed Jim Murray Whisky Bible of 2013. Jim hath bestowed upon the 12YO 87/100 and doth sayeth that, "the 12 year old does not try to be flash, it just does Speysidey things very well!" Derived from the Muirhead Clan, Gaelic for "Head of the Moor"or "Highest Point of the Moor"€, Muirheads Silver Seal 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky perfectly embodies Muirheads proud and venerated origins.

Tasting Note: Honeyed gold. Soft, sweet and delicate with clean floral notes. Well-rounded and elegant. Floral notes with a nutty sweetness. Long and elegant with mellow tones.
