Auchentoshan Cooper's Reserve is a 14-year-old single malt originally released for travel retail. Aged in a combination of American bourbon casks and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, this is nutty whisky with hints of citrus and crème brûlée. A beautifully full, mature and harmonious whisky, which is anything but boring. Non-chill filtered and bottled at high strength (46% ABV) to capture every subtle flavour.
Auchentoshan is one of the few distilleries to have a fairly extensive travel retail range this is a fantastic everyday dram – easy-drinking and great for sharing. If you like the sherry-rich sweeter whiskies such as Glenfarclas or Dalmore, you’ll certainly want to give this a try.

Auchentoshan is the only Scottish single malt that is triple distilled. Distillation takes Distillers Beer from around 8% ABV (alcohol by volume) up to 81%. No other Scottish distillery insists on triple distilling every drop – double distillation usually reaches just 70% ABV. This trademark signature of the house is done on all Auchentoshan whiskies for the following reasons:
1.To distill away all the impurities in the liquid, so strong notes of fruit and citrus come through.
2.Makes the spirit more prone to the epic woodiness that comes from the casks in maturation.
3.This makes Auchentoshan the smoothest, most delicate tasting single malt scotch whisky.
