The Manyara Rosé comes from an old cool site in Balhannah. The Pinot Noir was handpicked in the cool of the morning into small open plastic bins to capture the freshness of the fruit. Carefully transported to the winery and placed in the cool rooms to chill the fruit to 5 degrees. After 24 hours, the fruit was gently whole bunched pressed and the cold free run juice was transferred to French oak barrels. The barrels were placed into the cool room to begin fermenting naturally. A cool ferment followed and lasted for approximately 6 weeks. The barrels where then topped and left on yeast lees for a further 4 months. The 2017 vintage was harvested on 9/03/17. An easy drinking dry Rosé to be enjoyed with food.

ABOUT MANYARA WINES
Manyara Wines is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery, established on fertile land once used to breed and train thoroughbred race horses located in Balhannah, Adelaide Hills, Australia. The lush vines on the property were planted in 1994 and are well known for their quality yield. The fruit is carefully hand-tended and handpicked to create premium, single vineyard wines.
The altitude of the region brings low night-time temperatures and rainfall, both which have a positive influence on grape growing. Shop from a collection of fresh Sauvignon Blanc, classic Chardonnay, elegant Pinot Noir Rosé, crisp Pinot Grigio and rich Pinot Noir.
Tasting Note: Light blush colour. The nose has lifted sour cherry and lemon rind. The palate shows strawberries and cherry flavours. Full in length and palate weight is generous.
