The traditions of the Folonari brand have been carried through nearly two centuries of success, combining the most careful selection of grapes from the best vineyards, coupled with the best vinification techniques. This produces wines of exceptional quality and delivers an outstanding consumption experience, typifying Italian wine styles.
 
This classic Italian red is made with love, using 85% Montepulciano and 15% Sangiovese grapes, from Italy’s Abruzzi region. Vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel, the wine is rich, yet fresh and fruity with soft flavours of cassis, dark fruit, leather and spice. Pair with lamb and mature cheeses. Serving temperature 18°C.
 
DOC (Denomizaone di Origine Controllata) is a higher Italian certification granted to wines which meet strict production and specific regional standards to deliver outstanding product.

Tasting Note: Ruby purple colour. Aroma displays intense notes of plums. Flavour is rich, fresh and fruity with soft flavours of cassis, dark fruit, leather and spice.
