Bodegas Faustino enjoys a well-deserved international reputation, after more than 150 years of experience in the production and ageing of premium wines. The winery has 650 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, between Laguardia and Oyn villages. The fourth generation family business, has become a leader in the production and sale of high quality wines with a global reach and reputation. The Faustino range are products which represent a blend of both modern wine making and the age-old traditions of Rioja, Spains leading wine region. The reputation of Bodegas Faustino centres on the quality and complexity in the wines they develop, adhering to a stringent process using a combination of ageing in oak barrels and bottle prior to launch. Their wines are classified based on this ageing process, presenting exceptional quality and outstanding value. Pair with any kind of meat. Matches with grilled or fried potatoes, mushrooms or ham. Oily fish such as tuna or cod, rice or pasta. Medium aged cheese and berry dessert.

Tasting Note: Clean, bright, medium depth picota cherry red developing to maroon. Pleasant with red fruits, a sweet touch due to its barrel ageing. Fresh and elegant, fine tannin, pleasant on the palate. Medium length, pleasant on slightly riped fruits hints.
