Description

This is a GoodDrop Fresh Drop, meaning we have extremely limited stock which won’t be replenished once sold out. Get in quick if you want to try The Glenlivet Captain Reserve.

A combination of raisin-rich cognac and signature citrus notes married with the creamy smoothness of The Glenlivet.  The luscious liquid finds its unique honey and spicy notes through its journey from bourbon and sherry casks to a selective finish in Cognac casks. This process creates distinctive notes of raisin and honey within the creamy, citrusy single malt.

Inspired by Captain Bill Grant Smith, great grandson of our Founder George Smith, The Glenlivet Captain’s Reserve takes you on an adventure, beginning with the finish. It will make you wander through the misty glens of Scottish Speyside to the rolling vineyards of French Cognac at every sip.

“A laid-back malt playing games being simultaneously spicy and super-soft”, Jim Murray.

  • Silver Medal - International Spirit Challenge (ISC) 2019
  • Silver Medal: 92 Points - International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2019

Tasting Note: Sweet and fruity with subtle liquorice spice. Succulent flavours of chocolate-dipped raisins and mandarins in syrup. Smooth and luscious finish.
