The Robert Oatley Signature Series draws on a remarkable portfolio of vineyards nurtured by the winemaking talent of Larry Cherubino showcasing Australia’s most successful wine styles and regions. Bob Oatley’s mantra is that all wines should be a “darned good drink”, and the high quality Signature Series delivers immediate appeal, with satisfying flavours over an elegant frame. Each wine embodies the grape varietal and region in which it was grown.
Robert Oatley selected a number of parcels of grapes from primarily the southern areas of Margaret River, at a range of different maturities. Crushed, then pressed into stainless steel tank and fermented with a range of yeasts. The process was a proven success. They managed to deliver a variety of characters within the wine, whilst creating a deliberate less tropical drop with consistency and balance. Passionfruit, cut grass and a hint of lime zest soar across the palate of this long, fine, crisp dry white.

"Pale straw-green; a lively, zesty, mouth-watering combination of freshly mown grass, mineral, citrus and a dab of passionfruit serve to create a wine that has an abundance of flavour, yet leaves the mouth fresh and thirsting for more." - James Halliday
Tasting Note: A well balance of citrus, gooseberry and passion fruit are apparent on the mid palate. Subtle tones of tropical fruit are present during the medium finish.
