The cocktail to cure any man flu. New York bartender Sam Ross was the genius behind this sure fire whisky cocktail. Zesty flavours of lemon juice and fresh ginger combined with smooth honey, fortified with a good dose of scotch whisky.

Ingredients

  • 60ml blended Scotch whisky
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 25ml honey syrup
  • 5ml Islay single malt
  • 3 slices fresh ginger

How To

  • Muddle fresh ginger in bottom of cocktail shaker
  • Fill shaker with ice and add blended Scotch, lemon juice and honey syrup
  • Shake hard for 20 seconds
  • Strain into ice-filled rocks glass
  • Pour Islay Scotch over back of bar spoon
