Baileys Chocolate Mousse

You can’t go wrong with Baileys and this delicious alcoholic dessert is the bomb! And you don’t have to be a chef to make it!

In The Mix

  • 200ml Baileys Irish Cream
  • 2 eggs separated
  • 150gm chocolate chopped
  • 1tsp unsalted butter
  • 250ml double cream
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

How To Make

  1. Melt the chocolate, allow to cool slightly then beat in the egg yolks
  2. Lightly whip the cream with the Baileys, then fold into the chocolate
  3. Whisk egg whites until just stiff and fold into the chocolate mix. Add pieces of chocolate until it melts
  4. Spoon half the mousse mix into four glasses, followed by some chocolate shavings and then half the cream
  5. Repeat the layers and top with the remaining chocolate shavings
  6. Put into the fridge for three hours then serve
