Baileys Chocolate Mousse

You can’t go wrong with Baileys and this delicious alcoholic dessert is the bomb! And you don’t have to be a chef to make it!
In The Mix
- 200ml Baileys Irish Cream
- 2 eggs separated
- 150gm chocolate chopped
- 1tsp unsalted butter
- 250ml double cream
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
How To Make
- Melt the chocolate, allow to cool slightly then beat in the egg yolks
- Lightly whip the cream with the Baileys, then fold into the chocolate
- Whisk egg whites until just stiff and fold into the chocolate mix. Add pieces of chocolate until it melts
- Spoon half the mousse mix into four glasses, followed by some chocolate shavings and then half the cream
- Repeat the layers and top with the remaining chocolate shavings
- Put into the fridge for three hours then serve
