Description

Zesty tropical fruits and just a hint of grassy, herbal notes, this wine has a lovely mouthfeel and terrific length of flavour.

Matua began with a vision shared by Bill and Ross Spence - to revolutionise the New Zealand wine industry by making wines with the best fruit from the best vineyards. A philosophy that still stands today and has earned the winery international recognition for our pioneering work.

Today the range includes the Single Vineyard Range, the Lands & Legends Series, the fruit-driven Regional Series, and the innovative Matua First Frost Sauvignon Blanc. After almost four decades, Bill Spence is still involved as Matua ambassador, and our award-winning wines are crafted by local winemaker, Nikolai St George.
