La Ciudad

One great metropolis salutes another, in Mexico city’s take on the classic Manhattan.

Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Tequila Herradura
  • ½ Part Sweet Vermouth
  • ½ Part Ancho Chili Liqueur
  • 3 Dashes Chocolate Bitters

Method

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with two brandy cherries.

Horseshoe Margarita

A true classic from a true hacienda.

Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Tequila Herradura
  • 1 Part Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • ½-¾ Agave Nectar (to taste)

Method

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice to chill. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a half-salt rim and lime.

Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Tequila Herradura
  • 1-Part Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½-¾ Agave Nectar (to taste)
  • ½ Part Tamarind Nectar

Method

Rim half of coupe glass with Tajin Chili. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously to chill. Strain into glass.

Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Tequila Herradura
  • ½ Part Apricot Liqueur
  • ¾ Part Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¾ Part Monin Ginger Syrup
  • ½ Part White Peach Puree
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • 1 Egg White

Method

Shake all ingredients together to mix. Shake again with ice to chill. Strain into coupe glass and garnish with edible petals.

Method

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice to chill. Pour into a rock glass and garnish with a peel of watermelon.
