To reveal the full depth and complexity of this single malt, the Master Distiller hand selected a small number of casks for double maturation in Moscatel seasoned American Oak. Brilliant, crisp and finely balanced, the Distillers Edition of Caol Ila (pronounced 'Cull Ee-la') is richer and more intensely layered than the original expression. A rich texture from the sweet Moscatel Seasoned Casks brightens the concentrated smoke, balancing sweetness and body.
