Description

The Story

Located in the heart of Australia’s iconic Barossa wine region, St Hallett has been producing great wines since it was established in 1944. All fruit used in the St Hallett wine is grown in the Barossa. The Barossa’s rich and diverse range of vines and soils – that allows them to craft and exciting range of full flavoured and unique textured wines which are savoured around the world and recognised as benchmarks of the region. The Gamekeeper’s Shiraz showcases the lushness of the Barossa’s most iconic variety - Shiraz. Pure red fruits and lifted spices of cinnamon and nutmeg are encased in soft coating tannins on an elegant palate with a long, savoury finish.

The Wine

The Gamekeeper’s Shiraz showcases the lushness of the Barossa’s most iconic variety - Shiraz. Juicy plum and cherry flavours combine with a dark chocolate and vanilla framework to create a full bodied but soft, cascading Barossa Shiraz experience.

St Hallett Gamekeeper’s Shiraz is lifted and pretty with lively purple fruit characters and a floral hint. There’s a deeper, savoury layer that adds complexity. Pure red fruits and lifted spices of cinnamon and nutmeg are encased in soft coating tannins on an elegant palate with a long, savoury finish.  A great social wine to pair with anything cooking on your BBQ.
