Springbank 10 Year Old is a single malt Scotch Whisky from the Campbeltown region and home of the 2010 Whisky Distiller of the Year. The Springbank whisky heritage dates back to 1828, and the Scotch is known and loved by whisky enthusiasts the world over. Springbank is one of the few remaining family owned distilleries with nearly all of its whisky being sold as a single malt.
Springbank is one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step in the whisky making process, from malting the barley to bottling the spirit and bottling. From start to finish, Springbank 10YO is truly a handmade single malt, and this gives the Scotch a character all of its own. And that character is brimming with toasty grain, peat and the sweeter notes of citrus and butterscotch. Springbank 10YO Whisky is produced using lightly-peated barley and a unique two-and-a-half-times distillation method.

"A surprising hint of peat ash; makes the lemon citrus carry a shade more weight; that usual Springbank trick at this age of showing oaky depth bouncing off the youthful malt; ecellent oil and still a touch of smoke; thins out with a bitter-ish vanilla tang; although the inherent youthfulness of the 10-y-o has not changed, the depth of body around it has. Keeps the taste buds on full alert." - Jim Murray 2013.
Tasting Note: Aromas of toasty grains, potpourri, peat and citrus. Spice, butterscotch, shortbread and salty peat on the palate with a spicy, peaty, peppermint and salt aftertaste
