Description

Offering subtle differences to the port release, its deep, dark appearance gives hint to the depth of flavour within. A dark, nutty flavour presence will delight the palate, and indeed has won global acclaim with experts and consumers alike.

Masterfully subtle aromatics bring a deeply satisfying introduction to the refinement of Overeem whiskies.  On the palate flavours are delicate but satisfying, leaving the consumer happily content.

Possessing the Overeem fingerprint of quality and elegance, the sherry cask releases offer a great point of difference to the lighter port and bourbon expressions.

Tasting Note: Dark chocolate aromatics are joined by caramel, burnt toffee & rum soaked almonds, while shaved almond, stewed dark fruit & toffee are delightfully evident on the palate. The finish presents lightly charred almonds and subtle cocoa.
