Description

Muirheads Silver Seal 8 Years Old is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in Scotland and aged in oak casks in for a minimum of 8 years. The Muirheads history dates back to 1824 and culminates in the Silver Seal range of Muirheads Single Malts;  a superbly packaged range of top quality single malt whisky, specially selected by the master distiller.

Originally founded by Mr Charles Muirhead, creator of the Glenmorangie Company, the brand arrived on Australian shores in 2008 and we intend to continue in assisting the growth of an already burgeoning legion of Muirheads converts worldwide. A perfect introduction to the world of single malt Scottish Whisky, Muirheads Silver Seal  8 Years Old is the result of meticulous craftsmanship and a dedication to the production of the finest quality Single Malt Whiskies.

Tasting Note: Delicate and sweet with floral notes and hints of fruit. There is a soft oily and nutty character to the whisky. Light and elegant with gentle fruit notes marrying well with the oak tannin. A long and sweet finish.
