Good things come in pairs and the Australian wine pairing of Mogul Five Carat Cabernet Sauvignon with Winning Streak Shiraz is a delightful match in taste and flavour.
Crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the Five Carat Cabernet does the South Australian wine region where it was crafted proud. A classic example of Australian wine at its best, it is unsurprising it was given a 5-star rating and described by Sam Kim from leading wine authority Wine Orbit as ‘Graceful and complex’.
Designed for the red wine consumer who recognises quality and expects a high standard, Mogul Five Carat Cabernet displays blackcurrant, dried herb, olive and cedar characters on the nose and leads to a beautifully weighted palate that’s finely textured and delightfully flowing. Red wine is a delicious accompaniment to red meats, but it is versatile and goes well with Gouda cheese or roasted mushrooms.
Winning Streak Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine designed to be shared. The depiction of the magpie on the label is symbolic of Australia- this Australian produced wine represents the essence of Australia just like the iconic magpie. Full, soft, and juicy with rich, ripe dark berry flavours.
Generous fruit, a hint of spice and a long finish. It is a wine crafted with specially selected fruit by expert hands to deliver an exceptional vine to bottle experience. Pair suggestions include soft cheese, lamb stew and rare aged steaks.
