AN UNAPOLOGETICALLY AUSTRALIAN PROSECCO
Australian winemakers are renowned for creating world class wines in many different styles; thanks to a diverse landscape conducive to production. Mi Scusi was inspired by the great Proseccos of the world but produced in Australia’s Murray Darling region. Great tasting wine should have no restrictions, it should be produced wherever first-class ingredients and superior knowledge are found. Australia makes no apologies for producing an innovative and exciting Prosecco rivaling Italy’s finest. It may not have been the first country to produce this popular sparkling, but Australia is now well and truly one of the best.

A SPARKLING WINE FOR EVERYONE
Australian Prosecco is enjoying a boom, having become one of Australia’s most enjoyed wines. The popular sparkling wooed the palates of consumers with its easy drinking style and a love affair began. Traditionally, Prosecco has been produced in Italy, however favourable climatic conditions have allowed for successful production in Australia. Champagne and sparkling wines have always been a preferred drop for Australians, but home-grown Proseccos are now riding a wave of success previously ridden by Champagne producers. The increase in popularity of prosecco has emerged as consumers demand high quality sparkling wines at reasonable price points.
While traditionally wine and Prosecco was favoured more by women, men now account for nearly 50% of sparkling wine consumers in Australia.
Globally, Prosecco is now more popular than champagne with Prosecco seen as a sparkling suitable for events occasions and everyday drinks. In Australia alone, Prosecco has grown over 50% in growth each year for the last three years.
