Perfectly situated in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country, Hope Estate has been making wine since 1997. Every drop of wine that goes into a Hope Estate bottle comes from grapes grown on the estate. Utilising the highest quality, clarified free-run juice, the juice was cold fermented with special yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Nearing the completion of fermentation, the wine was chilled in order to end the ferment with a small amount of residual sweetness. It was then racked off yeast deposits immediately and prepared for bottling while young and fresh. The sweet fruit of the Hope Estate Verdelho, with its crispness and clean finish, matches well with any food not too overpowering or spicy and is even great alone!
Tasting Note: Pale yellow to straw, this young Verdelho exudes lifted paw paw and varietal tropical aromas. The palate is clean, vibrant and juicy with a firm backbone of crunchy acidity and a ripe core of tropical fruit salad flavours and mineral length.
