Description

Herradura Añejo is an aged Mexican tequila from the only 100% hacienda-made tequila producers in the world. The heritage of Herradura reaches back to 1870, and the delicious Añejo aged tequila has been available since 1962. Aged to perfection. Blending modern and traditional distilling techniques, Añejo was first introduced to the world by Casa Herradura in 1962. Since then Herradura Añejo has aged in American White Oak barrels for 25 months – an incredible 13 months beyond industry standards. The result is a remarkably smooth, amber-colored liquid that melts on your tongue leaving notes of cooked agave, toasted oak and dried fruit.

Añejo has won 53 Medals including 18 gold medals since 2006.

  • World's Best tequila - World Drinks Awards 2019
  • Best Añejo Tequila - World Drinks Awards 2019
  • Bronze Medal - International Wine and Spirits Competition 2018

Tasting Note: Dark amber with intense cooked agave and spice aromas, toasted oak and nutty notes. Very smooth on the palate, with cooked agave and dried fruit. A smooth, creamy finish.
