Go-Shu sake produced by Sun Masamune at its Penrith, New South Wales brewery is made to the highest Japanese quality standard using the famous Australian grown Japonica rice and pure water sourced from the Blue Mountains. Traditional brewing processes and strict quality control gives this sake a smooth balanced flavour with fruity notes, a hint of bitterness and a dry finish.
Go-Shu is a traditional style of sake suitable for heating and drinking at 35-40°C. Go-Shu has 15% alcohol content, is non-allergenic and enhances food flavour by cleansing the palate and sensitising taste.
Go-Shu may also be consumed cold. It belongs to the "Junmai" type of sake, produced from Australian Japonica rice polished to 70% of its original size.
Tasting Note: Go-Shu is dry and crisp with light fruity notes and a balanced smooth taste.
