Spirit of Oak is a four-part travel retail offering from Glengoyne Distillery, each expression a chapter of the story of their exceptional sherry oak casks. Glengoyne is involved in every stage - from selection to drying and seasoning – an entire six-year journey from the oak forest to the Dumgoyne Highland Distillery.

For centuries, the winemakers of Balbaína have prized sherry wood above all others. Glengoyne Balbaina is a Highland single malt whisky with rich depth; the result of careful maturation in hand-selected first-fill European oak Olorosso sherry casks. The choice of European oak brings an intense and spicy character, as it matures in stone-built warehouses at Dumgoyne, Scotland.
