Description

Glenfarclas 30YO is a rich, complex and spicy single malt Scotch Whisky packed with sherry cask character. The Glenfarclas 30YO comes from a distillery that has been proudly family owned and operated since the beginning, and is one of the only distilleries in Scotland that can still claim to be fully independent.

Glenfarclas 30YO is matured in Spanish sherry casks, especially selected by John Grant, the present Chairman himself. This is all part of the rigorous quality control program, ensuring each batch of Glenfarclas is as special as the last. An extraordinary and deep dram, with a full complex aroma combining fruit and spices similar to a fruit cake. The spirit is warm and rich, leaving a lingering fruit and nut chocolate feel on the palate.

  • 85 Points Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2019, 2017

Tasting Note: Full rich dark gold. Full aromas with fruit and full sherried malty tones. Sherry, cognac, brandy, fruit, nuts, marzipan, Christmas cake on the palate! The finish is exquisite with a real taste of burnt chocolate at the back of your mouth.
