Description

Courvoisier Artisan VS Double Oak

The Courvoisier Artisan VS Double Oak Cognac is the youngest quality of the 'artisan' range from this cognac giant. The eaux-de-vie used within the blend is first aged in virgin Limousin oak barrels before being transferred to more mature barrels for at least one year. The resulting taste is one that is smooth, yet providing a wonderful freshness of floral and fruity notes.

Enjoy neat as an aperitif, on the rocks, or with a mixer of your choice to make a long drink - perfect for those hot summer days.

Courvoisier Artisan VSOP Triple Oak

The Courvoisier VSOP Cognac is a delightful blend of mainly Fins Bois, Petite Champagne, and Old Borderies eaux-de-vie. Fins Bois give a fruity character, Petite Champagne offers depth while Borderies add rich exotic spice.

It is named 'triple oak' because the cognacs are aged first in virgin French oak barrels, then transferred to mature traditional casks for the middle stage of the aging process before being transferred to ancient wooden vats for the final maturation. Ageing in new French oak casks creates punchy aromas of vanilla and roasted nuts, while the traditional casks gives notes of dried fruits. The ancient wooden vats add an unrivaled richness and complexity, to deliver delicate floral notes. The result is a wonderful blend with incredible depth for a VSOP cognac.
