The Story

Much of Australia’s premier wine growing regions were profoundly influenced by volcanic activity of many millennia ago. “Chain of Fire” is the experts’ term for a series of extinct volcanoes.Rich volcanic soils create ideal conditions for the growth of high quality grapes which we celebrate in this label featuring a blacksmith - in tribute to Vulcan, the Roman God of Volcanoes, a supremely skilled artisan whose metal-working forge was a volcano.

The Wine

Harvested at optimum ripeness and fermented on skins at cool-moderate temperature. We have kept the oak influence to a minimum, allowing the vibrant fruit characters to remain to the fore.

The wine brings great flavours of cherry and stone fruits. It has great balance and structure. Pairs well with rib eye fillet or Italian.
