Stone Circle Merlot 2011 is a mature and fruit driven red wine from the esteemed Cassegrain Winery. This Merlot is a deep garnet in colour with a violet tone. It exhibits aromas of black cherry fruit with faint notes of vanilla and spiced rhubarb. The palate is mature and fruit driven offering generous flavours of blueberries and dark chocolate, enhanced by supple tannins.

The Cassegrain Winery is found near Port Macquarie on the New South Wales coastline. Established in 1980 and still run by Frenchman John Cassegrain, the entire portfolio of Cassegrain wines are imbibed with a particular and irresistible French style.
