Description

The Steamship Collection bourbon cask reserve is the third expression released in a series inspired by the SS Bushmills steamship, the vessel which set out on its maiden voyage to deliver bottles of Bushmills to America in 1890. This Irish single malt has been matured to perfection in first-fill #3 char bourbon casks to give a honeyed maltiness and notes of toasted oak, spices and crème brûlée with a long, rich and smooth finish. It is the result of Bushmills long-standing relationship with master coopers from Louisville, Kentucky who reserve only the finest American white oak, custom-charred bourbon casks to mature this unique whiskey.

Tasting Note: Amber gold colour. Honeyed malt aromas with toasted oak and subtle vanilla. Rich and mellow taste with delicious creme brulee, toffee apple and freshly baked biscuit flavours. Maple syrup and light oak with a long rich and smooth finish.
