Description

Backed by over a century of Bacardi tradition, Bacardi Oakheart has been crafted by our Maestros De Ron Bacardi. Bacardi Limited is the largest privately held, family owned spirits company in the world. Founded in 1862 and family owned for the past seven generations, Bacardi is a distillery operating with years of experience and tradition.

Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum is a delicious spiced rum launched in Autumn 2011. A blend of rums flavoured with vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and aged in charred American white oak barrels for a hint of smokiness and a truly unique taste.

Perfect as a Winter warmer, or in a refreshing Mojito in the Summer. Enjoy the boldly spiced, smoky, smooth taste.

  • Rated 90 points, Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2013
  • Bronze Medal - San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2013 "Layered aromas of vanilla, sweet spice, and light toffee are decidedly sweet. In the mouth it is just off dry with sweet vanilla and caramel supported by spicy wood flavors. The texture is silky smooth with a slightly smoked finish."

Tasting Note: A smooth, creamy palate with flavours of vanilla and butterscotch. A lingering spicy heat finish of orange peel, cinnamon and cloves.
